New Tesla Supercharger in Simcoe

Headed home from my open house at 111 Lynndale Road, I was very pumped to see that the new Tesla Supercharger in Simcoe is now open.

With 8 stalls capable of 250kw this is going to be a game changer not only for me but those in Simcoe and Norfolk County who own or are considering owning a Tesla. There are other EV chargers in and around Norfolk sprouting up as well so this is a welcome progression in one of my favourite areas.

Most Supercharger / EV charger locations are just off of major highways so Simcoe’s distance from the 400 series highways was a bit of a deterrent for those buyers with EVs. Now that Simcoe is home to a brand new Tesla Supercharger this could change the opinions of owners, especially since the lower sales price in Norfolk are more attractive than the rest of the surrounding area.

This is a Game Changer

I do a lot of business in Norfolk, so this is going to save me so much time and require less planning than before. Usually i’d have to make sure I take the time to charge up to 60-70% before leaving Brantford to do showings in Norfolk. Now with the Simcoe being the “gateway” for Norfolk, I am able to head out with “less in the tank” and stop in for a quick charge before heading home.
